Get On Down’s recently-launched and highly-successful Jukebox Series is a concept that has been a dream of label co-founder Matt Welch’s for many years. “Since I was a kid, I have always been intrigued by Jukeboxes,” he says. “But when I was finally able to get my hands on one a couple years ago and started to fill it up, I realized that most of my favorite hip-hop records aren’t available on 45. So we decided to change that.”
So Get on Down uses it’s common sense (get it) and announces the next single to be released for the vinyl only jukebox series as Common’s Resurrection, on clear vinyl with two large professor remixes. The single was originally released in 1995 making this year it’s 20th anniversary and the 5th single for the juke box series, featuring artwork from the OG 12″.
